He turns it wherever He wishes.”

Has everyone told you that your wife has her own will; therefore, she may “choose” not to return to you? When trying to restore your marriage you will be bombarded, as other men have, by the onslaught of those who will tell you that it is your wife’s choice and her “free will” to choose to leave you or to be with another man. But, praise the Lord, this is not the truth!!

Ognuno ti ha detto che tua moglie ha la sua volontà; quindi, potrebbe "scegliere" di non tornare da te? Nel tentativo di restaurare il tuo matrimonio sarai bombardati, come altri uomini, dall'assalto di coloro che ti diranno che è la scelta di tua moglie e il suo "libero arbitrio" di scegliere di lasciarti o di stare con un altro uomo. Ma, sia lodato il Signore, questa non è la verità!!

The key is not your wife’s will, but God’s will! And when seeking God’s word it is clear to see that it is His will to turn your wife’s heart back to you, her husband, because it is what He joined together. Glory to God!

La chiave non è la volontà di tua moglie, ma la volontà di Dio! E quando si cerca la parola di Dio è chiaro vedere che è la Sua volontà di volgere il cuore di tua moglie di nuovo a te, suo marito, perché è ciò che Lui ha unito insieme. Gloria a Dio!

It’s NOT Man’s Will but God’s Will!!

NON è la volontà dell'Uomo ma la volontà di Dio!!

“He does His will….” Dan. 4:31

“… egli agisce come vuole…” Daniele 4:35

“He bestows it on whomever He wishes….” Dan. 4:25 

“... l’Altissimo... lo dà a chi vuole”. Daniele 4:25

“God is able to deliver….” Dan 3:17

“… Dio… ha il potere di salvarci...” Daniele 3:17.

Consider Nebuchadnezzar. After his pride caused him to crawl like an animal, he said of God, “He does according to His will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth; And no one can ward off His hand or say to Him, ‘What hast Thou done?’” Dan. 4:35. Is this not the same God who still does according to His will? Is your wife greater than King Nebuchadnezzar?

Consideri Nabucodònosor. Dopo che il suo orgoglio lo fece strisciare come una bestia, disse di Dio: “... egli agisce come vuole con l’esercito del cielo e con gli abitanti della terra, e non c’è nessuno che possa fermare la sua mano o dirgli: “Che fai?”” Daniele 4:35. Non è forse lo stesso Dio che fa ancora secondo la Sua volontà? Tua moglie è più grande del re Nabucodònosor?

Consider also Jonah. Jonah was unwilling to do what God wanted him to do, but God made him willing. “And the Lord appointed a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the stomach of the fish three days and three nights.” Jonah 1:17. God is MORE THAN ABLE to make your wife willing!

Considera anche Giona. Giona non era disposto a fare ciò che Dio voleva che facesse, ma Dio lo ha reso disposto. “Ora l'Eterno aveva preparato un grosso pesce perché inghiottisse Giona; e Giona fu nel ventre del pesce tre giorni e tre notti”. Giona 1:17 LND. Dio è PIÙ CHE CAPACE di rendere tua moglie disponibile!

Lastly, consider Paul. “Now Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord…suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him…and Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing…the Lord Jesus…has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit. And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he regained his sight, and he arose and was baptized.” Acts 9:1-18.

Infine, considera Paolo. “Saulo, sempre spirante minacce e stragi contro i discepoli del Signore... d’improvviso, sfolgorò intorno a lui una luce dal cielo... Saulo si alzò da terra ma, aperti gli occhi, non vedeva nulla... «Il Signore, quel Gesù... mi ha mandato perché tu riacquisti la vista e sia riempito di Spirito Santo». In quell’istante gli caddero dagli occhi come delle squame e recuperò la vista; poi, alzatosi, fu battezzato”. Atti 9:1-18.

God is MORE THAN ABLE to change your wife in an instant!! I have seen it done countless times! If you say “But you don’t know my wife,” I would say – you don’t know God!!

Dio è PIÙ CHE CAPACE di cambiare tua moglie in un istante!! L'ho visto fare innumerevoli volte! Se dici "Ma tu non conosci mia moglie", io direi: tu non conosci Dio!!

Turning the Heart

Girare il cuore

As I mention earlier, you may hear some pastors and other Christians say that it is your wife’s will to leave you, divorce you, or be with another man. But we just learned in Scripture that it is not man’s will but God’s will.

Come ho accennato prima, potresti sentire alcuni pastori e altri cristiani dire che è la volontà di tua moglie di lasciarti, divorziare da te o stare con un altro uomo. Ma abbiamo appena imparato nella Scrittura che non è la volontà dell'uomo, ma la volontà di Dio.

It may be your wife’s will to leave you, divorce you, or be with someone else. Nevertheless, God can turn her heart!

Potrebbe essere la volontà di tua moglie di lasciarti, divorziare o stare con qualcun altro. Tuttavia, Dio può trasformare il suo cuore!

You don’t need to worry about her will. Instead you need to pray for your wife’s heart to be turned. “The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes.” Prov. 21:1.

Non devi preoccuparti della sua volontà. Invece devi pregare perché il cuore di tua moglie si trasformi. “Il cuore del re, nella mano del Signore, è come un corso d’acqua; egli lo dirige dovunque gli piace”. Proverbi 21:1.

Pray that God will give your wife a new heart and replace her heart of stone with a heart of flesh! “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezek. 36:26.

Prega che Dio dia a tua moglie un cuore nuovo e sostituisca il suo cuore di pietra con un cuore di carne! “Vi darò un cuore nuovo e metterò dentro di voi uno spirito nuovo; toglierò dal vostro corpo il cuore di pietra e vi darò un cuore di carne”. Ezechiele 36:26.

The first step in turning your wife’s heart is to find God’s promises (His truths) and then meet the conditions of those promises. Here are several that we recommend you memorize:

Il primo passo per trasformare il cuore di tua moglie è trovare le promesse di Dio (le Sue verità) e poi soddisfare le condizioni di quelle promesse. Di seguito ne riportiamo alcuni che ti consigliamo di memorizzare:

“When man’s ways are pleasing to the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Prov. 16:7 

“Quando il Signore gradisce le vie di un uomo, riconcilia con lui anche i suoi nemici”. Proverbi 16:7.

“Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Ps. 37:4

“Trova la tua gioia nel Signore ed egli appagherà i desideri del tuo cuore”. Salmi 37:4.

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He will do it.” Ps. 37:5

“Riponi la tua sorte nel Signore; confida in lui, ed egli agirà”. Salmi 37:5.

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” Matt. 6:33 

“Cercate prima il regno di Dio e la sua giustizia, e tutte queste cose vi saranno date in più”. Matteo 6:33.

Remember you need to put God first in your life; He never wants to be second place to anything or anyone. Once He is first, you will begin to be transformed into His image. That is when you will begin to see your wife’s heart turn back to you.

Ricorda che devi mettere Dio al primo posto nella tua vita; Egli non vuole mai essere secondo a niente e a nessuno. Una volta che Egli sarà il primo, comincerete ad essere trasformati nella Sua immagine. È allora che comincerai a vedere il cuore di tua moglie tornare a te.

If you struggle with this principle of man’s will versus God’s will, you will need to renew your mind with the verses in this chapter to overcome the doubts of “man’s will theology” and replace it with God’s focus, which is the heart!

Se lotti con questo principio della volontà dell'uomo contro la volontà di Dio, dovrai rinnovare la tua mente con i versetti di questo capitolo per superare i dubbi della "teologia della volontà dell'uomo" e sostituirla con l'attenzione di Dio, che è il cuore!

Let’s look at the Scriptures that tell us how God changed the hearts of men and even kings: 

Diamo un'occhiata alle Scritture che ci dicono come Dio ha cambiato il cuore degli uomini e persino dei re:

“He put this in the king’s heart….” Ezra 7:27-28.

“Lui ha messo questo nel cuore del re...” Esdra 7:27-28.

“He hardened the hearts of the Egyptians….” Exodus 14:17. 

“Egli indurì il cuore degli Egiziani...” Esodo 14:17.

“The Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart….” Exodus 10:27.

“Il Signore indurì il cuore del Faraone...” Esodo 10:27.

“The Lord turns the heart wherever He wishes….” Prov. 21:1.

“Il Signore volge il cuore dove vuole...” Proverbi 21:1.

In the book of Proverbs we learn wisdom. Proverbs 1 verses 2 through 7 lists the benefits of Proverbs: 

Nel libro dei Proverbi impariamo la saggezza. Proverbi 1 versi da 2 a 7 elenca i benefici dei Proverbi:

To know wisdom.

To receive instruction.

To receive instruction in wise behavior.

Also instruction in righteousness, justice and equity.

Prudence to the naive. To the youth knowledge.

Conoscere la saggezza. 

Ricevere istruzioni. 

Ricevere istruzioni sul comportamento saggio. 

Anche istruzioni sulla giustizia e l'equità. 

Prudenza agli ingenui. Alla conoscenza dei giovani.

Wives Who Are Unwilling

Mogli che non vogliono

Not all wives return home even after God turns their hearts. Many wives, unfortunately, go against their hearts because their husbands are the same men they chose to leave. Once again, God is MORE THAN ABLE to turn your wife’s heart back to you. But, if you are still impatient, unkind and proud, then once her heart turns toward you, the OLD you will cause her to harden her heart and make a mental decision rather than a heart decision!

Non tutte le mogli tornano a casa anche dopo che Dio ha trasformato i loro cuori. Molte mogli, purtroppo, vanno contro il loro cuore perché i loro mariti sono gli stessi uomini che hanno scelto di lasciare. Ancora una volta, Dio è PIÙ CHE IN GRADO di riportare il cuore di tua moglie a te. Ma, se sei ancora impaziente, scortese e orgoglioso, allora una volta che il suo cuore si volge verso di te, il VECCHIO te le farà indurire il suo cuore e prendere una decisione mentale piuttosto che una decisione di cuore!

Make sure you read and reread this book over and over again! Make sure you live in the Word. Make sure you spend hours daily with your face to the ground, seeking His face. You must be a new man for your wife to want to follow her heart and come home! Remember, the reason your wife has left or has gotten caught by an adulter is because your home was not built on the rock of Jesus Christ.

Assicurati di leggere e rileggere questo libro più e più volte! Assicurati di vivere nella Parola. Assicurati di trascorrere ore al giorno con il viso a terra, cercando il Suo volto. Devi essere un uomo nuovo perché tua moglie voglia seguire il suo cuore e tornare a casa! Ricorda, il motivo per cui tua moglie se n'è andata o è stata catturata da un adultero è perché la tua casa non è stata costruita sulla roccia di Gesù Cristo.

Let’s look at Proverbs and some New Testament Scriptures:

Diamo un'occhiata ai Proverbi e ad alcune Scritture del Nuovo Testamento:

House of the proud. “The Lord will tear down the house of the proud.” Prov. 14:1.

La casa dei superbi. “Il Signore rovescia la casa dei superbi”. Proverbi 15:25.

House divided against itself. “Any kingdom or house divided against itself is laid waste: and any city or house divided against itself shall not stand….” Matt. 12:25.

Casa divisa contro se stessa. “Ogni regno diviso contro se stesso va in rovina; e ogni città o casa divisa contro se stessa non potrà reggere”. Matteo 12:25.

Yet it did not fall. “Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.” Matt. 7:24-25.

Ma essa non è caduta. “Perciò chiunque ascolta queste mie parole e le mette in pratica sarà paragonato a un uomo avveduto che ha costruito la sua casa sopra la roccia. La pioggia è caduta, sono venuti i torrenti, i venti hanno soffiato e hanno investito quella casa; ma essa non è caduta, perché era fondata sulla roccia”. Matteo 7:24-25.

Built together. “…Christ Jesus being the cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit….” Eph. 2:21.

Far parte dell’edificio. “... Cristo Gesù stesso la pietra angolare, sulla quale l’edificio intero, ben collegato insieme, si va innalzando per essere un tempio santo nel Signore. In lui voi pure entrate a far parte dell’edificio che ha da servire come dimora a Dio per mezzo dello Spirito”. Efesini 2:20-22.

Let no man separate. “And He answered and said, ‘Have you not read, that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, “for this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh”? Consequently they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” Matt. 19:4-6.

L’uomo non lo separi. “Ed egli rispose: «Non avete letto che il Creatore, da principio, li creò maschio e femmina e disse: “Perciò l’uomo lascerà il padre e la madre, e si unirà a sua moglie, e i due saranno una sola carne”? Così non sono più due, ma una sola carne; quello dunque che Dio ha unito, l’uomo non lo separi»” Matteo 19:4-6.

God has promised to heal, restore and create praise on your lips! “Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain I was angry and struck him; I hid My face and was angry, And he went on turning away, in the way of his heart. I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners, creating the praise of the lips. Peace, peace to him who is far and to him who is near, says the Lord, and I will heal him.” Isa. 57:17-19.

Dio ha promesso di guarire, ridadire e mettere lode sulle tue labbra! “Per l’iniquità della sua cupidigia io mi sono adirato e l’ho colpito; mi sono nascosto, mi sono indignato; ma egli, ribelle, ha seguito la via del suo cuore. Io ho visto le sue vie e lo guarirò; lo guiderò e ridarò le mie consolazioni a lui e a quelli dei suoi che sono afflitti. Io metterò la lode sulle sue labbra. Pace, pace a chi è lontano e a chi è vicino», dice il Signore, «io lo guarirò!»” Isaia 57:17-19.

NOTHING is impossible for God!
The Lord Turns the Heart Wherever HE Wishes!

NULLA è impossibile per Dio!
Il Signore volge il cuore dove LUI vuole!

Personal commitment: to ask God to turn my wife’s heart and not to fear the will of man. “Based on what I have learned in Scripture, I commit to trusting the Lord to turn my wife’s heart. I dispel the lie that says ‘my wife has a free will; therefore, God will not intervene on my behalf and answer my prayers.’ Instead, I believe that my ‘wife’s will’ will follow after God turns her heart back home.”

Compromesso personale: chiedere a Dio di volgere il cuore di mia moglie e di non temere la volontà dell'uomo. “Sulla base di ciò che ho imparato nella Scrittura, mi impegno a confidare che il Signore trasformi il cuore di mia moglie. Io dissipo la menzogna che dice ‘mia moglie ha un libero arbitrio; quindi, Dio non interverrà in mio favore e non risponderà alle mie preghiere’. Invece, credo che la volontà di mia ‘moglie’ seguirà dopo che Dio volgerà il suo cuore a casa".
