KEY Principle: We Reap What We Sow

Principio CHIAVE: Seminiamo ciò che mietiamo

One of the most important principles in the Bible is sowing and reaping. To reap a harvest, we must FIRST sow seeds.

Uno dei principi più importanti della Bibbia è seminare e mietere. Per mietere un raccolto, dobbiamo PRIMA seminare i semi.

There are many Scriptures that give us an insight into the subject of sowing and reaping. Here are just a few that are important for you to ponder and really think about:

Ci sono molte Scritture che ci danno un’idea del tema della semina e del mietuto. Qui ci sono solo alcuni che sono importanti per te su cui riflettere:

“Now this I say, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully” (2 Cor. 9:6).

“Ora dico questo: chi semina scarsamente mieterà altresì scarsamente; e chi semina abbondantemente mieterà altresì abbondantemente” (2 Corinzi 9:6).

“Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting” (Ps. 126:5).

“Quelli che seminano con lacrime, mieteranno con canti di gioia.” (Salmi 126:5).

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap”(Gal. 6:7).

“Non vi ingannate, non ci si può beffare di Dio; perché quello che l’uomo avrà seminato, quello pure mieterà” (Galati 6:7).

“For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life” (Gal. 6:8).

“Perché chi semina per la sua carne, mieterà corruzione dalla carne; ma chi semina per lo Spirito mieterà dallo Spirito vita eterna” (Galati 6:8).

“And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary” (Gal. 6:9).

“Non ci scoraggiamo di fare il bene; perché, se non ci stanchiamo, mieteremo a suo tempo” (Galati 6:9).

When we focus on this truth during our Restoration Journey and begin to follow what we learn, only then can we fully understand and REAP the benefits of this principle—or any other principle. When we don't apply or move forward with what we've learned, because we are waiting until we understand, then we find our paths are crooked and we become lost.

Quando ci concentriamo su questa verità durante il nostro viaggio di restaurazione e iniziamo a seguire ciò che impariamo, solo allora possiamo comprendere appieno e MIETERE i benefici di questo principio o di qualsiasi altro principio. Quando non applichiamo o non andiamo avanti con ciò che abbiamo imparato, perché stiamo aspettando di capire, allora scopriamo che le nostre strade sono tortuose e ci perdiamo.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:4-6).

“Confida nel Signore con tutto il cuore e non ti appoggiare sul tuo discernimento. Riconoscilo in tutte le tue vie ed egli appianerà i tuoi sentieri” (Proverbi 3:5-6).

In regard to this principle, sowing and reaping, we must move forward and put our trust in the Lord with our whole heart, based on the truth of His Word, and sow—expecting to reap a harvest! And once you begin to do this, that is when your Restoration Journey will become really exciting! 

Riguardo a questo principio, semina e mietituta, dobbiamo andare avanti e confidare nel Signore con tutto il nostro cuore, sulla base della verità della Sua Parola, e seminare, aspettandoci di mietere! E una volta che inizierai a farlo, sarà allora che il tuo viaggio di restaurazione diventerà davvero emozionante!

EXPECTATION

ATTENDERE

No farmer would take the time or the money to sow seed if he did not expect to reap a harvest. In addition, if he wanted to reap a harvest of corn, he would sow corn. If he wanted to reap wheat, he would sow wheat. This means:

Nessun agricoltore impiegherebbe tempo o denaro per seminare se non si aspettava di mietere un raccolto. Inoltre, se voleva mietere un raccolto di mais, seminerebbe mais. Se voleva mietere il grano, seminerebbe il grano. Questo significa:

• If you want to reap kindness, sow kindness. 
• If you want to reap forgiveness, forgive! 
• If you want to reap love, then sow love. 
• If you want to reap financially, sow financially.
• If you want to reap encouragement, sow Encouragement!

—then anticipate a harvest of what you sowed—since God’s principles and His promises are true, and He is faithful!!

• Se vuoi mietere gentilezza, semina gentilezza. 
• Se vuoi mietere il perdono, semina perdono! 
• Se vuoi mietere amore, allora semina amore. 
• Se vuoi mietere finanziariamente, semina finanziariamente. 
• Se vuoi mietere incoraggiamento, semina Incoraggiamento!

—quindi anticipa una messe di ciò che hai seminato, poiché i principi di Dio e le Sue promesse sono veri, ed Egli è fedele!! 

Not only will this mean that God will be faithful to what He promised and you'll reap a harvest here on earth, but you'll also be investing into your eternal future. 

Questo non solo significa che Dio sarà fedele a ciò che ha promesso e che mieterai un raccolto qui sulla terra, ma investirai anche nel tuo futuro eterno. 

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:19–21).

“Non fatevi tesori sulla terra, dove la tignola e la ruggine consumano, e dove i ladri scassinano e rubano; ma fatevi tesori in cielo, dove né tignola né ruggine consumano, e dove i ladri non scassinano né rubano. Perché dov’è il tuo tesoro, lì sarà anche il tuo cuore”, Matteo 6:19-21. 

This means any treasures you sow, no one here on earth can steal!

Ciò significa che questi sono tesori che nessuno qui sulla terra può rubare! 

This is significant to most of us who've experienced the loss of our spouse, our family life, our home, and our happiness!! And the reason it was stolen was due to giving the enemy permission, in addition to not sowing into the right soil. Soil that has been neglected from water and cultivation.

Questo è significativo per la maggior parte di noi che hanno sperimentato la perdita del nostro coniuge, della nostra vita familiare, della nostra casa e della nostra felicità !! E il motivo per cui è stato rubato era dovuto al dare il permesso al nemico, oltre a non seminare nel terreno giusto. Terreno che è stato trascurato dall'acqua e dalla coltivazione.

What we do with our money, or our time and energy, here on earth, is a true indicator of where our hearts are and will result in how we are blessed or why we are NOT blessed.

Ciò che facciamo con il nostro denaro, tempo ed energia qui sulla terra è un vero indicatore di dove sono i nostri cuori e si tradurrà in come siamo benedetti o perché NON siamo benedetti.

“Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God” (2 Corinthians 9:10–11).

“Colui che fornisce al seminatore la semenza e il pane da mangiare fornirà e moltiplicherà la vostra semenza, e accrescerà i frutti della vostra giustizia. Così, arricchiti in ogni cosa, potrete esercitare una larga generosità, la quale produrrà rendimento di grazie a Dio per mezzo di noi”, 2 Corinzi 9:10-11.

Since coming to Encouraging Men, everything you've benefited from, each Restored Marriage Testimony, and all the resources that have helped you, just about everything, came from women who SOWED. Only the few men you've read about, just a fraction, have sowed, which is why the men's harvest has been so small in comparison.

Da quando sei arrivato a Uomini incoraggianti, tutto ciò di cui hai beneficiato, ogni Testimonianza di matrimonio restaurato e tutte le risorse che ti hanno aiutato, praticamente tutto, provenivano da donne che hanno SEMINATO. Solo i pochi uomini di cui hai letto, solo una frazione, hanno seminato, motivo per cui il raccolto degli uomini è stato così piccolo in confronto.

One morning the Lord reminded me of the two most hopeless Restoration Journeys that I still have ever seen over more than two decades of ministering. They were two women who came to me, years apart, but each had absolutely HOPELESS situations!

Una mattina il Signore mi ha ricordato i due più disperati viaggi di restaurazione che io abbia mai visto in più di due decenni di ministero. Erano due donne che sono venute da me, a distanza di anni, ma ognuna aveva situazioni assolutamente SENZA SPERANZA!

Yet would you believe that God used these women to teach ME something I almost missed? Let me introduce you to the first woman, Melanie, an older woman and her Restored Marriage Testimony.

Eppure crederesti che Dio abbia usato queste donne per insegnarMI qualcosa che quasi mi mancava?. Lascia che ti presenti la prima donna, Melanie e la sua testimonianza di matrimonio ripristinato.

Helping & Focusing on Others!!

Aiutare e concentrarsi sugli altri!!

Melanie had believed God for her marriage for over 10 long YEARS!! When she found my ministry and began coming to my weekly fellowship meetings. Very soon she and I became close friends and my four children began calling her Aunt Melanie.

Melanie aveva creduto in Dio per il suo matrimonio per oltre 10 lunghi ANNI!! Lei ha trovato il mio ministero e ha iniziato a venire alle mie riunioni di associazione settimanali. Ben presto io e lei diventammo amiche intimi ei miei quattro figli iniziarono a chiamarla zia Melanie.

Hearing all the things she was doing in her desire to restore her marriage to her husband, nothing made any sense to me. She was doing EVERYTHING right and yet she still did not have a restored marriage after almost 10 years. So I began to seek God for wisdom.

Sentendo tutte le cose che stave facendo nel suo desiderio di restaurare il suo matrimonio con suo marito, niente aveva senso per me. Lei stava facendo TUTTO bene e tuttavia non aveva ancora un matrimonio restaurato dopo quasi 10 anni. Così cominciai a cercare Dio per la saggezza.

Melanie was from a long line of powerful Christians: well-known missionaries and pastors. And interesting to me, also, was that she and her husband were still surprisingly very close, spending a lot of time together as he came and went from their very spacious home. She was not at all contentious or many of the other things that usually caused marriage destruction.

Melanie proveniva da una lunga stirpe di potenti cristiani: noti missionari e pastori. E interessante per me, anche, era che lei e suo marito erano ancora sorprendentemente molto vicini, trascorrendo del tempo insieme mentre andava e veniva dalla loro casa molto spaziosa. Lei non era rissosa o molte delle altre cose che hanno causato la distruzione del matrimonio.

Yet like all of us, Melanie wanted her husband to choose her over the other woman he had been involved with for all those very long and painful ten years! But after so many years of her seeking restoration, it seemed impossible to me, to her, and to everyone but God!

Eppure, come tutti noi, Melanie voleva un marito che la scegliesse rispetto all’altra donna con cui era stato coinvolto per tutti quei lunghissimi e dolorosi dieci anni! Ma dopo tanti anni in cui cercava la restaurazione, mi sembrava impossibile, a lei, a tutti tranne che a Dio!

What God did to change Melanie's situation instantly, suddenly, and miraculously. And my guess is that it will surprise you as much as it surprised me. It is something that I have tried to encourage men and women to do  whenever anyone came to me or my ministry in desperation for their marriage to be restored. Yet, it was only recently that I realized it was that very special hidden KEY that would undoubtedly unlock restoration and to find and begin living the abundant life!

Quello che Dio ha fatto per cambiare la situazione di Melanie all’istante, all’improvviso e miracolosamente ti sorprenderà tanto quanto ha sorpreso me. È qualcosa che ho cercato di incoraggiare a fare gli uomini e le donne che sono venute da me o il mio ministero in disperazione perché il loro matrimonio fosse restaurato. Eppure, è stato solo di recente che mi sono resa conto che era quella speciale CHIAVE nascosta per sbloccare il restauro e per trovare e vivere la vita abbondante!

Not surprisingly it's the very message that Jesus taught and lived—but oh so very few Christians are willing to follow. And by the way, the word "Christian" actually translates to "followers of Christ" therefore all of us who claim to be Christians need to be willing to follow Him and His example, which means...

Non sorprende che sia lo stesso messaggio che Gesù ha insegnato e vissuto, ma oh, pochissimi cristiani lo seguono. E per certo, la parola “cristiano” si traduce in realtà come “seguaci di Cristo”, quindi tutti noi che diciamo di essere cristiani dobbiamo essere disposti a seguire Lui e il Suo esempio, il che significa...

Our lives must be about caring for OTHERS more than caring about ourselves.

La nostra vita deve riguardare la cura degli ALTRI più che la cura di noi stessi.

Caring for OTHERS was what I saw in Melanie. She always lived that way, but once she began coming to our Restoration Fellowship meetings, from the very beginning, she forgot all about how long she had waited for her miracle. Instead, she began to think of the other women, caring for them, and not with the mindset that if she helped them, then God would do anything for her.

Prendersi cura degli ALTRI è stato ciò che ho visto in Melanie. Lei ha sempre vissuto in quel modo, ma una volta che ha iniziato a venire alle nostre riunioni dell’associazione di restaurazione, fin dall’inizio, si è completamente dimenticata di quanto tempo aveva aspettato per il suo miracolo. Invece lei iniziò a pensare agli altri: prendersi cura degli altri, e non con la mentalità che Dio avrebbe fatto qualcosa per lei. 

Once she was surrounded by women who had needs, she began focusing on them, and she no longer thought about herself or her restoration!! Once Melanie had forgotten about herself, but instead began focusing on helping and blessing others—that GOD remembered her and blessed HER!!

Una volta lei è stata circondata da donne che avevano bisogni, ha iniziato a concentrarsi su di loro, e non più su se stessa o sulla sua restaurazione!! Una volta Melanie si era dimenticata di se stessa, ma invece ha iniziato a concentrarsi sull'aiutare e benedire gli altri, fu che DIO si ricordava di lei e la benediceva!!

After 10 YEARS Melanie's husband left the other woman for good! And to prove it was final, he wrote a song for Melanie that he sang to her at her church in front of hundreds of people!! People who knew what had been going on all those long ten years, who thought she was crazy for believing that God could restore her marriage—they ALL watched GOD do what He had promised! Even the men who witnessed Melanie's husband singing to his wife, brought all the men (and the women) to tears!!

Dopo 10 ANNI il marito di Melanie ha lasciato l’altra donna per sempre! E per dimostrare che era definitivo, ha scritto una canzone per Melanie che le ha cantato nella sua chiesa di fronte a centinaia di persone!! Le persone che sapevano cosa stava succedendo in tutti quei lunghi dieci anni, che pensavano che fosse pazza per aver creduto che Dio avrebbe potuto restaurare il suo matrimonio, TUTTI guardavano DIO fare ciò che aveva promesso! Anche gli uomini che hanno visto il marito di Melanie cantare a sua moglie, hanno portato tutti gli uomini (e le donne) alle lacrime!!

How can you help others?

Come puoi aiutare gli altri?

"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.

“Entrate per la porta stretta, poiché larga è la porta e spaziosa la via che conduce alla perdizione, e molti sono quelli che entrano per essa.

"For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14)

“Quanto stretta è la porta e angusta la via che conduce alla vita! E pochi sono quelli che la trovano” (Matteo 7:13-14)

The truth is—no matter how LONG or how SEVERE your situation is or continues to be, helping OTHERS is what will change EVERYTHING—and why your RESTORATION may have stalled or is not moving along in a positive way. 

La verità è che non importa quanto LUNGA o grave sia o continui ad essere la tua situazione, aiutare gli ALTRI è ciò che cambierà TUTTO, e perché la tua RESTAURAZIONE potrebbe essersi bloccata o non si sta muovendo in modo positivo. 

Yes, following the principles that you learned during these 30-Days are important. But what it takes is to sow where you want to reap AND to open the last narrow gate very few are willing to open and walk through.

Sì, è importante seguire i principi che hai imparato durante questi 30 giorni. Ma quello che serve è seminare dove vuoi raccogliere E aprire l'ultima porta stretta pochissimi sono disposti ad aprire e attraversare.

Men instinctively care about themselves, all humans do. All humans are selfish and self-centered by nature. Our sinful nature. But as we begin to renew our minds and live what we've learned, we actually choose to open and walk through the narrow gate we've been searching for "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14) it's then when we begin to see God doing what He promises to do.

Gli uomini istintivamente si preoccupano di se stessi, tutti gli umani lo fanno. Tutti gli esseri umani sono egoisti ed egocentrici per natura. La nostra natura peccaminosa. Ma quando iniziamo a rinnovare la nostra mente e a vivere ciò che abbiamo imparato, in realtà scegliamo di aprire e camminare attraverso la porta stretta che abbiamo cercato:" poiché la porta e angusta la via che conduce alla vita! E pochi sono quelli che la trovano" (Matteo 7:13-14) è allora che iniziamo a vedere Dio fare ciò che Egli promette di fare.
