♕ Today's Promise: "The light shines in the dark, and the dark has never extinguished it." John 1:5
Words of Encouragement
Dear brother,
Last time was a talk about how you may be walking through the darkness, it’s different phases and how you are not to fear, nor let the things of darkness take control of you, because the Lord is with you in the darkness. In some cases he puts on the darkness, and uses it to birth something new.
Here are good things that occur in the darkness - a baby is formed in the darkness of its mothers womb. The Lord started creation in the darkness, Jesus went to get the keys to Hades in three nights of darkness before resurrection. Victory is coming into the darkness! You must endure to the end. The light of the word of God will guide you steadily into a new day; it will break the present darkness and become your greatest spiritual training and triumph.
Here are more examples when times seemed dark yet the people of God prevailed: Israel prospers under Egyptian bondage because of God’s voice. Isaac prospered in a time of famine because of God’s Word. Jacob prospered in lean times because he entered into God’s provision. Joseph led Egypt to prosperity despite the decline. In the same way God has assigned you to live in the darkness and be the light. God brings His order out of your brokenness because his light is inextinguishable.
Isaiah 60: 1-3
Arise! Shine! Your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has dawned.
Darkness now covers the earth,
and thick darkness covers the nations.
But the Lord dawns, and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light,
and kings will come to the brightness of your dawn.
John 1:5
The light shines in the dark, and the dark has never extinguished it.
Darkness is your training time and you will overcome it, you will thrive after it because you are in Him and He is in you. You are the light and darkness must run dear brother.
