“On the Rock” Wise Men CH1

Therefore everyone who hears these Words of Mine, and acts upon them,
may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock.
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew,
and burst against that house; and yet it did not fall,
for it had been founded upon the rock.
—Matthew 7:24

Today we want to invite you to study the course Wise Men weekly.

Read what the author shares: "Is your house built upon the rock? Are you sure? Because God’s Word says that the rains are going to come. They may be in the form of a financial crisis, the death of a loved one, unfaithfulness, or health problems. How about your marriage; will it stand? Great is the fall of most marriages; will yours be next? Or, perhaps it has already fallen. Men, it is time for all of us to rebuild our homes firmly on the Rock of Jesus Christ–firmly on His Word. The ways of the world will only guarantee the fall of our home along with our hopes and plans for our families."

Also, let´s read what other men shared:

"Though I was raised Christian, I never understood these principles on a heart level. I had knowledge of most of them, and I could often recite them to others to appear wise, but lacked all understanding of these passages. But now that I have finally been broken by God, I can present my broken spirit and contrite heart to Him, which He will not despise. As I seek Him with all my heart, I will find Him. As I truly give Him my heart, He will strongly support me."
-Reuben Kriegel

"To me, this lesson is all about dying to self and drawing nearer to God. I had a personal Bible reading time, but I wasn't studying His Word nor was I applying it. It was just another check box in my pride feeding life. I will begin studying to get the word in me to move from just knowledge to applying it to my life."
-David Sekanic

"It just reinforced the path that I'm on. That I can do nothing without Christ, that the only way that I'm going to be a godly man is to follow His Word."
- Kheledi Molemohi
