♕ Today's Promise: “Trust in the Lord with all Rhine; heart and lean not into thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
Since my wife and I separated at her request 4 months ago I have been picking up the pieces of my life and in shock of how to carry on with life. I knew I wanted my wife and family back but I knew God was trying to gett my attention, and boy has he got it! I found this ministry about 2 months ago and have been going through the marriage restoration curriculum.
During this time I have felt God change my perspective on how I see life and what’s important. Although it has not been easy, I have learned a great deal about how God wants me to reconcile with him and to put him first in all I do. I have also learned to serve others and how not to be selfish.
I have a lot more to learn but I can feel that desire for truth and the word more than I have ever had in my life.
Through applying the principles and stepping out in faith I am making progress in growing in the Lord. I can say that I am in a lot better place than I was 4 months ago! I want all you men to understand that this happened for a reason and God wants you to build your relationship with him FIRST, then all these things will be added to you. I am trying to enjoy this time with the Lord and taking everyday one step at a time. God is good and he is walking with us through this valley.
You can do it and what a blessing it is when you experience time with God. Be encouraged!!
