♕ Today's Promise: “He leads the humble in justice, and He teaches the humble His way.” Psalm 25:9
Dear Friend
Stay the course. The Bible says a righteous man falls seven times but gets up, so no matter how difficult this journey is, never give up. Ask for His strength and wisdom daily, humble yourself and ask for forgiveness when you've gone astray, and continue on your journey with Him always by your side.
I struggle with consistency in living Godly. I let the cares of the world get to me, and then start neglecting my intimacy with the Lord. I think this lesson has re-emphasized the fact that I need to stay connected to the vine no matter my circumstances, so that others may be drawn to the Lord and also so that I may see victory in my own life.
I learned that a) They that we live our lives has an impact (positive or negative) on those around us; b) God is not a respecter of persons, He can use whomever and also draw whomever to Himself.
I thought of my wife, she's currently lost under the false prosperity gospel, and I need to steadfastly stand in the gap for my family so that they may get to know the real Jesus Christ.
Lord, I pray and will keep praying for You to open Fifi's eyes so that she can know the real Jesus Christ. You are a Sovereign God, use whatever way You deem fit Father to bring her back to You.Â
As previously mentioned, I need to just be connected to the Vine, Jesus Christ, at all times, so that my life should be a testimony that draws others to Him.
Dear Father, my finances, my separation, the situation with the tenants; these are really becoming a stumbling block in my walk with You Lord. Father, I ask for faith to give it all up to You and stop wanting to solve these issues myself. I ask for Your wisdom in solving them in a manner that is pleasing to You Lord. I ask in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.
1 Corinthians 1:27 “For God has chosen the foolish of the world to shame and confound the wise.”
The foolish are also the humble. If we remain humble the Lord WILL exalt us in His own time. I pray to the Lord for me to remain humble so that He may use me mightily for His glory, Amen.
