Que a Graça e a Paz de nosso amado Jesus Cristo esteja conosco! Que alegria é termos o Espírito Santo de Deus nos consolando e guiando pelas veredas da vida. Quando Jesus anunciou a necessidade de partir, para viabilizar a vinda do nosso Santo Advogado, muitas coisas devem ter passado na cabeça dos discípulos. Depois de tão longa e rica jornada, um desfecho de suposta desventura era tudo o que não cabia na mente dos que seguiam Jesus. Como tudo aquilo terminaria? O que seria feito depois da partida? Quão dolorosa seria a separação?

May the Grace and Peace of our beloved Jesus Christ be with us! What a joy it is to have the Holy Spirit of God comforting us and leading us in the paths of life. When Jesus announced the need to depart to make our Holy Advocate come, many things must have passed through the minds of the disciples. After such a long and rich journey, an outcome of alleged misfortune was all that did not fit the minds of those who followed Jesus. How would all this end? What would be done after the match? How painful would the separation be?

"Em verdade, em verdade eu vos digo que chorareis e vos lamentareis, e o mundo se alegrará; vós ficareis tristes, mas a vossa tristeza se converterá em alegria." João 16:20 (ARA)

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy." John 16:20 (KJV)

Nosso amado Pastor já sabia de tudo e antecipou o que viria pela frente para que pudéssemos ter a Paz que excede todo o entendimento. Por que insistimos tanto em alimentar as nossas dúvidas? Por que ficamos presos às circunstâncias quando Jesus mesmo fala para focarmos nEle que é capaz do impossível junto ao Papai?

Our beloved Shepherd knew everything and anticipated what lay ahead so that we could have the Peace that surpasses all understanding. Why do we insist so much on feeding our doubts? Why are we stuck in the circumstances when Jesus Himself speaks to focus on Him who is capable of the impossible with Dad?

"Naquele dia, nada me perguntareis. Em verdade, em verdade vos digo: se pedirdes alguma coisa ao Pai, ele vo-la concederá em meu nome. Até agora nada tendes pedido em meu nome; pedi e recebereis, para que a vossa alegria seja completa." João 16:23-24 (ARA)

"And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full." John 16:23-24 (KJV)

Muitas vezes nos vemos perdidos em meio a tantas informações e distrações do mundo e perdemos o foco do que nos é fundamental: a comunhão com nosso Amado Jesus! É impressionante a quantidade de eventos que ocorrem ao longo do dia que  nos influencia a seguir o que a "carne" nos pede. A parte mais delicada de todo este processo é o que recebemos de informação quando somos ainda crianças. Se nascemos em berço cristão, temos uma boa chance de conhecer bons caminhos desde cedo. Ao contrário, podemos nos perceber enredados numa trama perversa que fatalmente nos fará trilhar por estradas sombrias que são distantes da vontade do nosso querido Papai. Pela Graça e Misericórdia de Deus Pai, em nome de Jesus Cristo, recebemos instruções do Espírito Santo e mudamos de rota para a nossa salvação. Nesse momento, começa a grande batalha da "carne" e do "espírito".

We often find ourselves lost in the midst of so much information and distraction from the world and lose focus on what is fundamental to us: communion with our Beloved Jesus! It is amazing how many events occur throughout the day that influences us to follow what the "flesh" asks us. The most delicate part of this whole process is what we get from the information when we are still children. If we are born in a Christian cradle, we have a good chance of knowing good ways early. On the contrary, we may find ourselves entangled in a wicked plot that will inevitably make us tread down dark roads that are far from our dear Dad's will. Through the grace and mercy of God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we receive instructions from the Holy Spirit and change course for our salvation. Then the great battle of the "flesh" and the "spirit" begins.

"Em verdade, em verdade te digo que, quando eras mais moço, tu te cingias a ti mesmo e andavas por onde querias; quando, porém, fores velho, estenderás as mãos, e outro te cingirá e te levará para onde não queres." João 21:18 (ARA)

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not." John 21:18 (KJV)

Uma vez neste novo caminho, como o apóstolo Paulo já dizia, reforçando o que o nosso amado Jesus nos ensinou, devemos orar e vigiar para que não caíamos em tentação.

Once in this new way, as the apostle Paul said, reinforcing what our beloved Jesus taught us, we must pray and watch that we do not fall into temptation.

"Vigiai e orai, para que não entreis em tentação; o espírito, na verdade, está pronto, mas a carne é fraca." Mateus 26:41 (ARA)

"Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matthew 26:41 (KJV)

"Aquele, pois, que pensa estar em pé veja que não caia." 1Coríntios 10:12 (ARA)

"Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." 1 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV)

Quando nossa caminhada de restauração é iniciada, sem termos ainda plena consciência do processo que foi iniciado, temos muitas dúvidas. Há uma "tempestade" acontecendo nas nossas cabeças e corações e ficamos aflitos, tudo em função de não termos o verdadeiro conhecimento. 

When our journey of restoration begins, without yet being fully aware of the process that has begun, we have many doubts. There is a "storm" going on in our heads and hearts and we get distressed, all because we don't have the true knowledge.

"O meu povo está sendo destruído, porque lhe falta o conhecimento. Porque tu, sacerdote, rejeitaste o conhecimento, também eu te rejeitarei, para que não sejas sacerdote diante de mim; visto que te esqueceste da lei do teu Deus, também eu me esquecerei de teus filhos." Oseias 4:6 (ARA)

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." Hosea 4:6 (KJV)

Pouco a pouco, o Espírito Santo vai nos dando consciência da maravilhosa transformação que nosso amado Papai preparou para todos nós que fomos chamados e enfim as mudanças começam a fazer parte da nossa rotina. Lutamos, relutamos, questionamos, choramos, quebrantamos, caímos, suspiramos, escondemos, rastejamos... enfim, aceitamos! Passamos um breve período num deserto desolador e nem mesmo entendemos porque fomos parar ali...

Little by little, the Holy Spirit gives us awareness of the wonderful transformation that our beloved Dad has prepared for all of us who have been called and finally the changes are becoming part of our routine. We fight, we are reluctant, we question, we cry, we break, we fall, we sigh, we hide, we crawl ... finally, we accept! We spent a brief time in a desolate desert and didn't even understand why we ended up there...

"Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil." Matthew 4:1 (KJV)

Maravilhosa Graça Divina é participar da vida de Cristo Jesus! Que Glória é poder trilhar com Jesus os mesmos caminhos que Ele mesmo criou para nós! Quão lindo é poder experimentar uma pequena amostra do que Jesus viveu por todos nós! Eu te amo meu Senhor! Deste ponto em diante, recebemos a convicção de que o deserto é um lugar de aprendizado e crescimento e tudo fica mais colorido. A dor e a tentação não são eliminadas mas somos cuidadosamente conduzidos com a mais linda ternura e amor. O nosso próprio Papai preparou tudo para nós! Não devemos temer! Ele está e sempre estará conosco - Aleluia! Quanta coisa maravilhosa pude aprender aqui no deserto. Não tenho ideia de onde estou nesta travessia mas hoje tenho a certeza que tudo é para o meu bem e o de minha família. O que era no princípio uma grande dúvida, vai se tornando uma certeza gigante dentro dos nossos corações: só há um Caminho e uma Verdade e devemos buscá-la com todo o entendimento e coração.

Wonderful Divine Grace is sharing in the life of Christ Jesus! What a glory it is to be able to walk with Jesus the same ways He created for us! How beautiful it is to be able to experience a small taste of what Jesus lived for all of us! I love you my Lord! From this point on, we are convinced that the desert is a place of learning and growth and everything gets more colorful. Pain and temptation are not eliminated but we are carefully conducted with the most beautiful tenderness and love. Our own Dad prepared everything for us! We must not fear! He is and always will be with us - Hallelujah! How much wonderful thing I could learn here in the desert. I have no idea where I am on this crossing but today I am sure that everything is for me and my family's sake. What was at first a great doubt, becomes a giant certainty within our hearts: there is only one Way and one Truth and we must seek it with all understanding and heart.

"A isto ele respondeu: Amarás o Senhor, teu Deus, de todo o teu coração, de toda a tua alma, de todas as tuas forças e de todo o teu entendimento; e: Amarás o teu próximo como a ti mesmo." Lucas 10:27 (ARA)

"And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself." Luke 10:27 (KJV)

O que pensamos ser a restauração de nossos casamentos é muito maior do que podemos imaginar! É apenas uma pequena parte das grandes bênçãos que Deus Pai tem preparado para nós! É a grande recompensa da obediência. Confiemos nEle de todo o nosso coração!

What we think is the restoration of our marriages is so much bigger than we can imagine! It's just a small part of the great blessings God the Father has prepared for us! It is the great reward of obedience. Let us trust Him with all our heart!

"E não vos conformeis com este século, mas transformai-vos pela renovação da vossa mente, para que experimenteis qual seja a boa, agradável e perfeita vontade de Deus." Romanos 12:2 (ARA)

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2 (KJV)

O que fazer então? 

What to do then?

"Sujeitai-vos, portanto, a Deus; mas resisti ao diabo, e ele fugirá de vós. Chegai-vos a Deus, e ele se chegará a vós outros. Purificai as mãos, pecadores; e vós que sois de ânimo dobre, limpai o coração. Afligi-vos, lamentai e chorai. Converta-se o vosso riso em pranto, e a vossa alegria, em tristeza. Humilhai-vos na presença do Senhor, e ele vos exaltará." Tiago 4:7-10 (ARA)

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." James 4:7-10 (KJV)

Como esperar dentro deste processo? Orando, descansando e confiando em Deus Pai enquanto a tempestade ataca o nosso barco. Jesus sempre sabe o que está fazendo, por isso, depois de orar ao nosso Papai, consegue dormir em meio as tempestades. E não temam! Até Jesus, nosso amado Salvador, nos deixou prova de que a aflição faria parte da nossa restauração pessoal, nos momentos de maior tribulação.

How to wait within this process? Praying, resting and trusting in God the Father as the storm strikes our boat. Jesus always knows what he's doing, so after praying to our daddy, he can sleep through the storms. And do not fear! Even Jesus, our beloved Savior, has left us proof that affliction would be part of our personal restoration in times of greatest tribulation.

"Está alguém entre vós sofrendo? Faça oração. Está alguém alegre? Cante louvores. Está alguém entre vós doente? Chame os presbíteros da igreja, e estes façam oração sobre ele, ungindo-o com óleo, em nome do Senhor. E a oração da fé salvará o enfermo, e o Senhor o levantará; e, se houver cometido pecados, ser-lhe-ão perdoados. Confessai, pois, os vossos pecados uns aos outros e orai uns pelos outros, para serdes curados. Muito pode, por sua eficácia, a súplica do justo." Tiago 5:13-16 (ARA)

"Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:13-16 (KJV)

Agradeço à Deus Pai, em nome de Jesus, por tamanho amor e oportunidade de salvação. Mesmo sem merecer nada, ganhamos esta maravilhosa Graça! Obrigado amado Jesus! Obrigado por tudo! Obrigado por nos ensinar o que e como fazer! Eu te amo!

I thank God the Father, in the name of Jesus, for such love and opportunity for salvation. Even without deserving anything, we win this wonderful Grace! Thank you beloved Jesus! Thanks for everything! Thanks for teaching us what and how to do it! I love you!
