(How do you speak your life and circumstances)

A basis for thought

I have had the misfortune of thinking something negative, then saying it and then seeing it come to pass. Has this happened to you?

Matthew 12:37

For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."

Proverbs 18:34 (ESV)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

Proverbs 21:23 (Berean)

He who guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from distress.

Proverbs 13:3

He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

Life and death lie in the power of your tongue. Therefore, you must watch what you’re declaring and what you’re confessing. Are your words being driven by fear or faith?

The Lord spoke the whole world into being, with the exception of man who was formed by his hands from the dust. His words were used to create.

Revelation 2:16

Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth..

He says in Revelation he will come against a church with the sword of his mouth.

This Word He speaks of is the sword of the Spirit. After you have deliberately and consciously meditated on the Scriptures, the Word that comes out of your mouth becomes the Word of the Spirit with which you cut the enemy in pieces. When you face crises in life, speak it over or against the situation.

So I know you are in turmoil but what are you declaring? Are you declaring negativity and fear? Because if you are, I would like you to change to speaking words of faith, promise and favour.

Let every word that comes from your mouth regarding the situation you’re in and other things speak life not death.

If you have said it, it will come to pass, even negative things come to pass. I once heard it taught that most people who take their lives do not do so because they have been physically assaulted, No! Most people who take their lives do it after something has been said to them.

These are declarations of negativity affecting their worth and future. This is why movements against cyber bullying are so big now, because of things that are said.

I’d like you to speak more positive things every day, it doesn’t matter what’s going on be positive!  please declare hope because hope is not weak it is strong. Hope as it’s used in the Bible speaks of certainty.

In today’s English we use it to mean perhaps or maybe. But in the Bible, it means certainly! For example, the hope of Christ to come. So, let your words be full of biblical hope. Let your declarations expose where are you are going!
