Hetbir, how did your restoration journey actually begin?
May the Peace and Grace of our Beloved Lord Jesus Christ be with you all! It is with great joy from the Lord that I begin the account of this wonderful journey that God has allowed me to go through. Yes, wonderful! During the beginning and for a long time on the walk, still without any wisdom, I could never believe that one day I could thank everything I went through, with joy and sincerity. However, Jesus is wonderful and He is in charge of teaching us and pointing out the direction. Perhaps his moment of walking is exactly as it was mine at the beginning: great pain, difficulty in acceptance and a deep sadness. However, believe me, "everything cooperates for the good of those who love God"! Yes, beloved ones, He is faithful and keeps every promise that He gave to us with every tear rolled from our eyes.
I lost count of how many reports and testimonies I have recorded from my entire journey. The reflection that He allowed me to go through was very great. Far beyond the restoration of marriage, I have had a restoration of life. It took me to my childhood and adolescence, where most of the problems that today's adult faces were "created". After all this, he came to heal. I could just take all my reports and compose a single testimony. The most beautiful thing is that I waited on Him to know how to do it and the right time to do it to make sure the best could be made available. Result? A new text, written by the man restored in its most recent version. That would really be the best way to do it.
Speaking of my restoration journey more specifically, understanding that my restoration problem originated in my creation and marriage was just a tool for God to transform me into this new creature that I am, the problems started to become clearer to me at the end of 2016. After a state change event, I realized that something was wrong with my family but I had no idea what was coming. After the move, I spent months struggling with my arm, without any wisdom until I met RMI in mid-2018. It was a major transformation. Incredible, to tell you the truth! I didn't know Jesus as He really is and I had the most wonderful experiences that a human being can have. It all started when I started doing the 30-day restoration journey in which, in parallel, I read the book How God can and will restore your marriage. A blessing!! Thank you very much Erin, you are truly a great servant of the Lord! The book and the course took me through a profound transformation because, as I went on, my Bible readings began to mature in parallel. I was just fascinated by it all. I kept asking myself: is it serious that these things are written in the Bible? At each step, in the course and in the book, I took the Bible to verify that everything that was written and made available was "for real". It was an incredible thirst! Thank you Jesus! I became a regular reader of the Bible, of course. From then on, everything was happening. Countless spiritual battles, much prayer, fasting and victories. God touched all areas of my life! I had incredible struggles in everything that a person can imagine and He helped me to win them all!
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8-9
My biggest mistake in the whole process was the adultery I committed between the years 2012 and 2013. I was a man without any wisdom. Full of addictions and idolatries (money, alcohol, drugs, sexual sins, etc.), inevitably, I had to go through the crucible of the Lord to be refined. Thank you Jesus!
My wife started talking more openly about separation in 2017. It took me a long time to learn to let go, even taking courses and reading RMI books. As I said before, I struggled for a long time with the strength of my arm. In 2019, right at the beginning, I thought my restoration was happening because, in prayer, I asked God for the opportunity to go to work in the city where my family lived and He promptly attended (from 2017 to 2019 I had to work in other cities and saw my family only on weekends). I came home and had just a month with everyone. My wife had already contacted a lawyer and had the divorce papers ready for me to sign. At that moment, God had already enabled me to do everything. In secret, I prayed about the papers and had the conversation with my wife. I explained to her that it was not my heart's desire but she also said that I would not be in a position to stop her. I put only one condition: I would sign the papers after she signed. She signed it, I signed it, but the papers never left my house, for the honor and glory of our Lord Jesus Christ! Thanks dad! From this, we came to the conclusion that there was no way I could stay in the house (the house was a blessing that the Father gave us). There my exercises of letting go began. I had already let go of my job and career. Although my wife did not follow up on the divorce papers, I followed everything the document requested (I did not question a line of what was asked for; I just trusted the Father). He helped me to honor everything! Thank you Jesus! I told her: you don't need a lawyer, let alone a judge, to define what we have to do or not - I'm willing to do everything you want, with legal guarantee or not. I left the house for them, rented an apartment, left a brand new car, a lot and half of our savings that were quite generous. I paid pension regularly. I never complained. Whenever I was asked physically or financially, I helped. Thank you Jesus! I walked my restoration journey in this apartment, from 2019 until December 2020, when God definitely restored my marriage! Glory to God, in the name of Jesus! Thank you Beloved of my soul; the Lord is too beautiful - I love you!
Hetbir, how did God change your situation as you sought Him wholeheartedly?
The transformation was slow, profound, continuous and wonderful. He touched and healed every area of my life! It was a blessing and it has been. I can only thank you!
'You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord , “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord , “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” Jeremiah 29:13-14
Hetbir, what principles, from God's Word (or through our resources), did the Lord teach you during this trial?
The process is simple. There was no way to be different! Jesus is simple. He came in simplicity and preached everything with simplicity. The summary then would be: prayer, fasting, reading the Word of God, praise - lots of praise / worship, giving time to others, encouraging others with personal testimonies and tithing. The RMI materials are fantastic! Everything, absolutely everything, helped me in an extraordinary way! Books, courses, e-mail content, daily devotionals, praise reports, desert fountains and prayer partners. The journey with the Brothers in the faith made a big difference! I had two incredible Prayer Brothers !! I hope to see his testimony here soon - it will be incredible - two extraordinary restoration stories - call on Earth to be connected in Heaven, Daddy, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
It's a daily exercise! He teaches you to seek Him and to depend only on Him in a beautiful and full way. It is impossible for man to try to plan something like that. Even because, as the process involves being outside the comfort zone, most of the time, naturally, consciously, we would never choose to go through everything that He lovingly proposes us to do. It was all for His Grace. Without His Grace, it would be impossible to cross so many fires, storms and chasms. He's too wonderful. Today it is possible to look back and see an indescribable change: He really made me a new creature! As Erin always says: "I belong to my Beloved and my Beloved is mine"! I love you Jesus!
What were the most difficult times that God helped you through?
There were several intense moments in the desert. I had financial problems, emotional problems with my family and children, spiritual struggles against addictions and deep pains in my soul. However, the strongest pains were always associated with the rejection of my wife and the acts associated with it, as a result. God always placed in my heart a great certainty that He would make everything happen, however, when looking at the circumstances, we inevitably fail ... that is: do not take your eyes off Jesus - He is the way, the truth and the life!
'To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11,15
What was the “turning point” of your restoration?
The turning point happened with a big mistake on my part. I ask the Brothers for forgiveness for this! After so many years in the desert and without having an affectionate relationship with anyone, I had been asking God for the opportunity to continue my life with someone else, since the situation with my wife did not resolve. I had numerous conversations with Him and many Brothers who had a great walk with Christ to understand how I could go on. With several promises from Him and with some conditions in my heart that I knew I should respect, with much respect, prayer and worship, I asked Him for permission to get involved with someone. It all happened very quickly and, when I scared, my sin had been consummated again, after all, I was still married. However, I was willing to follow. I had in my heart that God would guide me on the right path. I decided to tell my wife that I had met someone and that I was going to introduce them to our children. My wife came from a long process of restoration, as I had been looking for this for years. This event turned out to be a great trigger to drop the remaining scales from the eyes. Thank you Jesus!

Tell us HOW it happened? Did your wife just walk in the front door?
I imagined that someone else's information in mine might change something in my wife's head. Even because, throughout my desert, I always told her that I was waiting for the miracle of restoration and I never had anyone else. After practically 4 years, I said that someone had appeared in my life and that the situation was serious (in fact it was because I had shared everything that had happened to me with this person and we decided to continue praying, fasting and worshiping the Lord; believe me , that person was a great mystery of the Lord because maybe it was with him that I recovered my vigor of prayer and fasting - that's what we did most together). Deep down, I knew that all of this could touch my wife, although it happened for other reasons - I didn't do it with the intention of generating this effect - please don't do this thinking that it would work for you; God knows what he does in each case. My wife called me to talk about the moment when I would talk to our children about the existence of OW. She was very broken (something I hadn't seen in all the 4 years of the desert) and said that it was all very strange because God put someone in my way just when she was most considering giving us a chance .. Incredible, right? Then I said to her: look ... if it is real and legitimate what you feel, there is still time for God to do the miracle! If it is something you really want to do, not only for your children and family, but also for you, the time is right! There, for the honor and eternal glory of our Beloved God, the victory of our Lord Jesus Christ in our lives was consummated! Thank you Jesus! I love you!

Did you suspect or could you tell you were close to being restored?
Several times I thought that the time had arrived but not. When I finally was with my mind away from it, the restoration came. I knew it would be possible but it was also very difficult to define where and how - I decided just to live my live looking and staring at Him all the time.

Hetbir, como tudo isso começou?
Que a Paz e a Graça do nosso Amado Senhor Jesus Cristo esteja com todos vocês! É com muita alegria do Senhor que inicio o relato desta maravilhosa jornada que Deus me permitiu atravessar. Sim, maravilhosa! Durante o princípio e por muito tempo na caminhada, ainda sem sabedoria alguma, eu jamais conseguiria acreditar que um dia eu pudesse agradecer à tudo que passei, com alegria e sinceridade. Entretanto, Jesus é maravilhoso e Ele mesmo se encarrega de nos ensinar e apontar a direção. Talvez o seu momento de caminhada seja exatamente como foi o meu no princípio: uma grande dor, dificuldade de aceitação e uma tristeza profunda. Contudo, acredite, "tudo coopera para o bem daqueles que amam à Deus"! Sim meus amados, Ele é fiel e cumpre cada promessa que nos deu a cada lágrima rolada dos nossos olhos.
Eu perdi a conta de quantos relatos e testemunhos tenho registrado de toda a minha caminhada. A reflexão que Ele me permitiu passar foi muito grande. Muito além da restauração do casamento, tive uma restauração de vida. Ele me levou à minha infância e adolescência, onde a maioria dos problemas que o adulto de hoje enfrenta foram "criados". Depois de tudo isto, veio curando. Eu poderia simplesmente pegar todos os meus relatos e compor um testemunho só. O mais lindo de tudo é que eu esperei Nele para saber como fazer e a hora certa inclusive de fazer para ter certeza que o melhor poderia ser disponibilizado. Resultado? Um texto novo, escrito pelo homem restaurado na sua versão mais recente. Realmente esse seria o melhor jeito de fazer. Falando da minha jornada de restauração mais especificamente, entendendo que o meu problema de restauração teve origem na minha criação e o casamento foi apenas uma ferramenta para Deus me transformar nesta nova criatura que sou, os problemas começaram a ficar mais claros para mim no final de 2016. Depois de um evento de mudança de estado, percebi que algo de errado estava acontecendo na minha família mas eu não tinha a mínima ideia do que estava por vir. Depois da mudança, passei meses lutando com o meu braço, sem sabedoria alguma até encontrar o RMI em meados de 2018. Foi uma grande transformação. Incrível, para falar a verdade! Eu não conhecia Jesus como Ele realmente é e tive as experiências mais maravilhosas que um ser humano pode ter. Tudo começou quando comecei a fazer a jornada de restauração de 30 dias em que, em paralelo, fiz a leitura do livro Como Deus pode e vai restaurar o seu casamento. Uma benção!! Muito obrigado Erin, você é realmente uma grande serva do Senhor! O livro e o curso me levaram à uma transformação profunda pois, à medida que eu avançava, as minha leituras da Bíblia começavam a amadurecer em paralelo. Eu estava simplesmente fascinado com tudo aquilo. Me perguntava o tempo todo: é sério que estas coisas estão escritas na Bíblia? A cada passo, no curso e no livro, eu pegava a Bíblia para verificar se realmente tudo o que estava escrito e disponibilizado era "de verdade". Foi uma sede incrível! Obrigado Jesus! Virei um leitor assíduo da Bíblia, naturalmente. À partir daí, tudo foi acontecendo. Um número incontável de batalhas espirituais, muita oração, jejum e vitórias. Deus tocou em todas as áreas da minha vida! Tive lutas incríveis em tudo que uma pessoa possa imaginar e Ele me ajudou a vencer todas!
'Não cesses de falar deste Livro da Lei; antes, medita nele dia e noite, para que tenhas cuidado de fazer segundo tudo quanto nele está escrito; então, farás prosperar o teu caminho e serás bem-sucedido. Não to mandei eu? Sê forte e corajoso; não temas, nem te espantes, porque o Senhor , teu Deus, é contigo por onde quer que andares.’ Josué 1:8-9
O meu maior erro de todo o processo foi o adultério que cometi entre os anos de 2012 e 2013. Eu era um homem sem sabedoria alguma. Cheio de vícios e idolatrias (dinheiro, álcool, drogas, pecados sexuais, etc), inevitavelmente, precisei passar pelo cadinho do Senhor para ser refinado. Obrigado Jesus!
Minha esposa começou a falar mais abertamente sobre separação em 2017. Eu demorei muito tempo para aprender a deixar ir, mesmo fazendo os cursos e lendo os livros do RMI. Como eu disse antes, lutei por muito tempo com a força do meu braço. Em 2019, logo no início, achei que a minha restauração estava acontecendo porque, em oração, pedi à Deus a oportunidade de ir trabalhar na cidade onde a minha família morava e Ele prontamente atendeu (de 2017 até 2019 eu tive que trabalhar em outras cidades e via a minha família somente nos finais de semana). Voltei para casa e tive apenas um mês junto de todos. Minha esposa já tinha feito contato com um advogado e tinha os papéis do divórcio prontos para eu assinar. Naquele momento, Deus já tinha me capacitado à tudo. Em secreto, orei sobre os papéis e tive a conversa com a minha esposa. Expliquei para ela que aquilo não era o desejo do meu coração mas também disse que eu não ficaria na posição de impedi-la. Coloquei apenas uma condição: eu assinaria os papéis depois que ela assinasse. Ela assinou, eu assinei, mas os papéis nunca saíram da minha casa, para a honra e glória do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo! Obrigado Papai! À partir disto, chegamos à conclusão que não teria como eu ficar na casa (a casa foi uma benção que o Pai nos deu). Ali começaram os meus exercícios de deixar ir. Eu já tinha deixado ir o meu emprego e carreira. Embora a minha esposa não tivesse dado seguimento nos papéis de divórcio, eu segui tudo o que o documento requisitava (eu não questionei uma linha do que foi pedido; apenas confiei no Pai). Ele me ajudou a honrar tudo! Obrigado Jesus! Eu disse pra ela: você não precisa de advogado e muito menos juiz para definir o que temos que fazer ou não - estou disposto a cumprir tudo o que você quer, com aval jurídico ou não. Deixei a casa pra eles, aluguei um apartamento, deixei um carro novinho, um lote e metade das nossas economias que eram bem generosas. Paguei pensão regularmente. Nunca reclamei. Sempre que era requisitado fisicamente ou financeiramente, eu ajudava. Obrigado Jesus! Trilhei minha jornada de restauração neste apartamento, à partir de 2019 até dezembro de 2020, quando Deus, definitivamente, restaurou o meu casamento! Glórias à Deus, em nome de Jesus! Obrigado Amado da minha alma; o Senhor é lindo demais - te amo!

É um exercício diário! Ele te ensina a busca-Lo e a depender somente Dele de uma forma linda e plena. É impossível para o homem tentar planejar algo parecido. Até mesmo porque, como o processo envolve estar fora da zona de conforto, na maior parte do tempo, naturalmente, de forma consciente, jamais escolheríamos passar por tudo o que Ele carinhosamente nos propõe a fazer. Foi tudo pela Graça Dele. Sem a Graça Dele seria impossível atravessar tantas fogueiras, tempestades e abismos. Ele é maravilhoso demais. Hoje é possível olhar para trás e ver uma mudança indescritível: Ele realmente me transformou numa nova criatura! Como a Erin sempre diz: "eu sou do meu Amado e o meu Amado é meu"! Eu te amo Jesus!
Hetbir quais os princípios, da Palavra de Deus , que o Senhor te ensinou durante essa provação?
O processo é simples. Não tinha como ser diferente! Jesus é simples. Veio na simplicidade e pregou tudo com simplicidade. O resumo então seria: oração, jejum, leitura da Palavra de Deus, louvor - muito louvor/adoração, doação de tempo ao próximo, encorajamento do próximo com testemunhos pessoais e o dízimo. Os materiais do RMI são fantásticos! Tudo, absolutamente tudo, me ajudou de forma extraordinária! Os livros, os cursos, o conteúdo dos e-mails, devocionais diários, relatórios de louvor, mananciais no deserto e os parceiros de oração. A caminhada com os Irmãos na fé fez uma grande diferença! Tive dois Irmãos de oração incríveis!! Espero em breve ver o testemunho dele aqui - serão incríveis - duas histórias de restauração extraordinárias - liga na Terra para ser ligado no Céu, Papai, em nome de Jesus, Amém!
Hetbir quais foram as horas mais difíceis que o Senhor te ajudou a atravessar?
Foram vários momentos intensos no deserto. Tive problemas financeiros, problemas afetivos com a família e filhos, lutas espirituais contra vícios e dores profundas na alma. Contudo, as dores mais fortes sempre estavam associadas ao repúdio da minha esposa e aos atos associados à ele, por consequência. Deus sempre colocou no meu coração uma certeza muito grande de que Ele faria tudo acontecer, porém, ao olhar para as circunstâncias, inevitavelmente, fraquejamos... ou seja: não tire os olhos de Jesus - Ele é o caminho, a verdade e a vida! 'Ora, aos casados, ordeno, não eu, mas o Senhor, que a mulher não se separe do marido (se, porém, ela vier a separar-se, que não se case ou que se reconcilie com seu marido); e que o marido não se aparte de sua mulher. Mas, se o descrente quiser apartar-se, que se aparte; em tais casos, não fica sujeito à servidão nem o irmão, nem a irmã; Deus vos tem chamado à paz. ' 1Coríntios 7:10-11,15
Qual foi o "ponto de virada" de sua restauração?
O ponto de virada aconteceu com um grande erro da minha parte. Peço perdão aos Irmãos por isto! Depois de tantos anos no deserto e sem me relacionar afetivamente com ninguém, eu vinha pedindo à Deus a oportunidade de seguir a minha vida com outra pessoa, já que a situação com a minha esposa não resolvia. Tive inúmeras conversas com Ele e muitos Irmãos que tinham uma grande caminhada com Cristo para entender como eu poderia seguir. De posse de várias promessas Dele e com algumas condições no coração que eu sabia que deveria respeitar, com muito respeito, oração e adoração, eu pedi permissão à Ele para me envolver com uma pessoa. Tudo aconteceu bem rápido e, quando eu assustei, o meu pecado já tinha sido consumado novamente, afinal, eu ainda estava casado. Contudo, eu estava disposto a seguir. Tinha no meu coração que Deus iria me guiar pelo caminho certo. Decidi contar para a minha esposa que eu tinha conhecido uma pessoa e que iria apresenta-la aos nossos filhos. Minha esposa vinha de um processo longo de restauração, pois eu estava buscando isto há anos. Este evento acabou sendo um grande gatilho para cair as escamas remanescentes dos olhos. Obrigado Jesus!
'Ora, aos casados, ordeno, não eu, mas o Senhor, que a mulher não se separe do marido (se, porém, ela vier a separar-se, que não se case ou que se reconcilie com seu marido); e que o marido não se aparte de sua mulher. ' 1Coríntios 7:10-11
Compartilhe conosco COMO isso aconteceu. Seu esposa simplesmente apareceu? Você suspeitou que isso estava perto disso acontecer?
Eu imaginava que a informação de outra pessoa em minha pudesse mudar algo na cabeça da minha esposa. Até mesmo porque, durante todo o meu deserto, sempre disse pra ela que eu estava esperando o milagre da restauração e nunca tive outra pessoa. Depois de praticamente 4 anos, eu disse que alguém tinha aparecido em minha vida e que a situação era séria (de fato era pois eu tinha dividido tudo o que havia acontecido comigo com esta pessoa e decidimos seguir orando, jejuando e adorando ao Senhor; acreditem, essa pessoa foi um grande mistério do Senhor pois talvez tenha sido junto dela que eu tenha recuperado o meu vigor de oração e jejum - foi o que mais fizemos juntos). No fundo, eu sabia que tudo isso poderia tocar a minha esposa, embora isto tivesse acontecido por outros motivos - não fiz pensando em gerar este efeito - por favor, não façam isto pensando que daria certo no caso de vocês; Deus sabe o que faz em cada caso. Minha esposa me chamou para conversar sobre o momento em que eu iria falar com os nossos filhos sobre a existência da OM. Ela estava muito quebrantada (algo que eu não tinha visto durante todo os 4 anos de deserto) e disse que tudo aquilo era muito estranho pois Deus colocou alguém no meu caminho justamente na hora em que ela estava mais considerando em nos dar uma chance... Incrível, certo? Aí eu disse pra ela: olha... se for real e legitimo o que você sente, ainda há tempo para Deus fazer o milagre! Se for algo que você realmente queira fazer, não somente pelos filhos e família, mas também por você, o momento é este! Aí, para a honra e glória eterna de nosso Amado Deus, a vitória do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo em nossas vidas foi consumada! Obrigado Jesus! Eu te amo!
